Recovery

The Substance Abuse program is based on the Principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12-Step program. Students must attend AA/NA meetings five times per week and have individual case management completed by licensed Substance Abuse Counselors.

In Phase One, students attend an Intensive Outpatient Program exclusive to San Cristobal Academy, which includes 24 three-hour sessions over an eight-week period.

In Phases Two and Three, students attain sponsors and begin working their programs in real-life situations such as work, school, and relationships.

Students also work on an extensive Relapse Prevention Program to enhance success as students after graduation from our program.

The staff at SCA has over 120 years of combined personal recovery experience. This brings true passion towards recovery and an emphasis that recovery works and can be fun.
