Taos Travel Information

By Air: Nine major carriers fly regularly into Albuquerque International Sunport, just over a two-hour drive from Taos. Shuttle bus, motor coach, and rental car services are available from the Albuquerque Airport to Taos. In addition, the Taos Municipal Airport handles all types of private aircraft.

Directions to Taos Municipal Airport
from Town of Taos

Take Paseo Del Pueblo Norte/Hwy 68 North towards Questa to the traffic light (referred to as "the blinking light" by locals) at the intersection of Hwy 68, Hwy 64 West, Hwy 150 East, and Hwy 522 North. At the intersection, turn left onto Hwy 64 West. The airport is about four miles down on the left.

Directions to San Cristobal Academy
from Albuquerque

Get on I-25 North and take Exit 599 – Veterans Highway (just south of Santa Fe—it bypasses the city). Take Hwy 84/285 North through Espanola, then Hwy 68 North to Taos. Directions to San Cristobal Academy from Taos Take Paseo del Pueblo Norte/Hwy 68 North to intersection of Hwy 68, Hwy 150 East, Hwy 64 West, and Hwy 522 North. Set odometer to ''0", go 11.5 miles North on Hwy 522, and turn right (this is the second turnoff to San Cristobal). Drive almost 9/10 of a mile and turn left at the Post Office; then proceed approximately two miles to ranch entrance on right, stay left at the fork, and our main building will be the first one on your left.
